Springerspanielit ry. järjesti erikoisnäyttelyn englannin- ja walesinspringerspanieleille hotelli Ellivuoren pihamaalla Karkussa 3.6. Tuomareiksi oli kutsuttu rotujen kasvattajia Iso-Britanniasta; englanninspringerspanielit arvosteli Mrs. Ann Corbett ( Trimere) ja walesinspringerspanielit Mrs. Gill Tully (Highclare). Näyttelyyn oli ilmoitettu koiria 132 kpl, joista englanninspringereitä oli 66 ja waleseja  samoin 66.
