Karkku 28.5.2006

Tämänvuoden Karkun erikoisnäyttelyssä saatiin nauttia Suomen suven vaihtelevasta ilmastosta täysin mitoin, aamupäivällä sää oli poutainen ja väliin jopa erittäin lämmin ja aurinkoinen, myöhemmin päivällä saatiin niskaan sitten oikein kunnolla kasteleva sadekuuro ja pienen poutajakson jälkeen iltapäivästä vielä toinenkin, onneksi jo vähäisempi. Koiria oli tänä vuonna ilmoittautunut yhteensä 143 kpl, joista 71 englanninspringerspanielia ja 72 walesinspringerspanielia.
Englanninspringerspanielit arvosteli Mrs Lyn Gregory (Kennel Arcadia) ja walesinspringerspanielit Mr Graham Tain (Kennel Taimere).

Näyttelyn kauneimmaksi tuomari Lyn Gregory valitsi juniori-ikäisen walesinspringerspanielinartun Benton Pearl At Wesper om. Virpi ja Pethi Lakso. Walesinspringereiden VSP oli 10v. uros FIN&S MVA V-98 SV-05 Standard-bearer Nevada,om. Suvianna Virkkunen, Kangasala.

Englanninspringereiden ROP oli valioluokassa kilpaillut 4v. uros KANS&FIN&EST&LV&LTU&RUS MVA NEVSKIYW-04 LTUW Hightides Knight Of York, om. Heidi raita ja Juha Snicker, enkkujen VSP oli FIN MVA Dreemteem’s Evita Peron, om. Gunda Theqvist.

BIS-pennuksi tuomari Graham Tain valitsi englanninspringerspanielinartun Desperados Uma, om Taina ja Jouni Lamminmäki. BIS veteraaniksi tuomari Lyn Gregoryvalitsi walesinspringerspanielinartun KANS & FIN & S(u) MVA Benton Delaware Storm , om. Marjo Jaakkola.

Näyttelyn parhaaksi kasvattajaryhmäksi Mr Tain valitsi Kennel Wesper walesinspringerspanielit, Mrs Gregoryn valitseman parhaan jälkeläisryhmän esitti wss narttu FIN&S MVA Wesper On the Beach.

Feminine bitch, compact dark liver coat, eye slightly round, good reach of neck into well-placed shoulders, good bone, nice spring of rib, good feet, stifle could improve, moved close, slightly narrow but hopefully this will improve with practise, overall sweet feminine bitch, please don’t clip her head, nicely feathered for age.
Desperados Uma 1 KP PN1 ROP-pentu BIS-1 pentu
Beautiful black & white bitch with nice head shape, muzzle needs to develop, beautifully shaped dark eye, nice reach of neck, well laid shoulders, with nice bone & good feet, chest needs to develop and drop, slightly longer in body, hind quarters ok, moved ok, happy moving with good tail action & tail set, cleanly presented with beautiful coat & feather for age.

Up to size liver-white dog, creating balanced outline, head proportions nor equal, longer in muzzle, nice eye shape, would like darker eye, good length of muscular neck, into well-placed shoulders, would like more development for chest, nice bone with good feet, compact body when handler doesn’t extend the dog too much, nice muscular hindquarters, covers the ground well, tail nice lively action, overall well-presented dog.

Nice size, feminine liver & white bitch with dark coat, presents good all around shape, head proportioned correctly with good flute, eye shape is good, eye colour will darken, nice clean neck & throat, well angulated front quarters with developing chest & good depth, short coupled, good rear angulations with well-muscled thighs for age, moves well.

Nice size liver & white dog presented clean lines. stronger head, body needs to develop, immature, needs more weight to balance him, good head proportions, nice eye shape but eye needs to darken, nice length of neck flows into level topline, well boned front legs, front angulations a little upright, would like more spring of rib, short coupled, rear angulations, moves well over ground but a little close, immature and needs time, but a nice dog.

Overall a very nice bitch but a shade long in back, has a nicely balanced head with a dark eye, good shoulders, tight feet, would like more rib, but this may come, good hind angulations, free & correct movement front & rear.
